1)Rio was Valerie's fourth Olympic Games winning the shot put silver medal. 

2)Valerie also took medals at Beijing 2008 (gold) and London 2012 (gold) and finishing seventh in her debut at Athens 2004.

3)Valerie has been the dominant women's shot putter in the world since 2006, only beaten twice in major world events.

Description:

Valerie Adams,  having an unprecedented winning streak of 56 competitions between 2010 and 2014. She was the IAAF world female athlete of the year 2014.She does amazing things and how hard she does I think she is a very good Shotputter.

Summary Of the Trailer

I think the summary of the trailer is that when he was a little kid he always wanted to be an Athlete and his dad was saying he couldn't do it so as he got older he didn't want to do Summer Olympics Sports but Winter one. The one he chooses was Skiing and he tried and tried and never gave up, he had fails fall down get back up and try he has been to the hospital ut that didn't stop him from giving up his dream. He trying and trying until one day he became the greatest skier. After he never gives UP.

The sport  have choosen is Synchronized Swimming

It is a sport i dont know about.

Here is a short description:

At the turn of the 20th century, Annette Kellerman, an Australian swimmer, toured the United States performing water acrobates. This is really a women sports. 

These are the Rules:

1) Ther must be 8 max competers in this sport.

2) Men are not allowed to compete in this sport.

The aim of ths sport:

What i found out is the aim of ths sport  for the swimmers is to peform the routines in perfect harmony, in time with the music and wih the illusion of effortless. Both routines allow athletes to to select accompanying music.

Amazing Marble Affect Skittles

For our part we did we were making some Skittles Art, And the whole of Room 3 was making this amazing skittles art. SO we found out that if you mix secondary colors they make a primary color or the opposite around. And the colors opposite the other side doesn't make that color. Also, we found out that if you mix all the colors together they make a brown color. We had to make a pattern with the skittles. In our group were Losaline and Toeumu. We had fun making. Activity 2

Milo of Croton was a wrestler with several ancient Olympic titles under his belt. He is most widely known for his incredible feats of strength.

Milo wrestled animals like bulls and other big animals.

He was a BC wrestler from Magna Graecia city of Corton. And who enjoyed a brilliant wrestling career and won many victories in the most important athletic festivals if ancient Greece.

Milo was a six-time Olympic victor. He won the boys' wrestling (probably in 540 BC), And thereafter five mens wrestling titles between 536 and 520 BCE.

Special Visit To Room 3

Last week we had a very special visitor to come  to our school and we thank her for coming here and telling us about Summer Learning journey and now we are just starting off with our activities you get the points on the 18th of December is already passed so I am going to explore new things and learn new stuff. Her name was Megan she taught us how to register and show us how to create a flag and explain why we choose to make this flag check out my other blog post and you will see my flag.

Is this a fair rule on the women Activity 2 Week 1

Activity 2 (Blog) Bonus

Post on my blog about what do we think about this rule. Is this a fair rule.

In the ancient Olympics games men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from watching the games.

In my opinion i think this rule is not fair because if women were allowed to participate there could be a men championship and a women's championship for the 1,2,3 place. Because so women like Valerie Adams won the shot put championship and for the men's it’s David storl. If women were allowed to be in the vents then women could have done lots and do a lot of progress.
